WHITE & BLUE.

White and blue: that's how I would distinctly describe what the outdoors look like right now :)
I've always been a lover of the snow, but I wish it came in the summer time. Imagine how pretty that would be! Can I re-arrange nature? No? Not how it works? Oh okay.
Truth be told, I planned on shooting this outfit outside. Then when I opened the door to get out, I realized the snow must have been knee-deep, at which point I decided a blank wall would work too!

I absolutely love my new leather skirt- I don't know why I waited so long to get one! They are such a chic take on the plain black skirt, which you already know I am a fan of.
See you soon!

NEW YEAR WISHLIST.

Just like last year, I wanted to construct a vague "wish list" of things I want to buy myself, or accomplish in the upcoming year! I did actually manage to get most of the things I wanted last year, but mind you.. I bought them all myself :) I think the last time someone actually gifted me something was when I was 13 haha

Hermès Bangle: Just so beautiful and simplistic- ideal for bracelet stacking (I refuse to call it arm candy).

Cameo "He Said What?" Skirt: I fell in love with this as soon as I saw it, and I think I'm just waiting for it to go on sale.

Cartier Love BraceletArguably the best materialistic gift to receive from somebody.

Yves Saint Laurent Wallet: Absolutely love the front design of this wallet. Now if only I could find it somewhere!

Alexander Wang Boots: Just any boots by Alexander Wang = Yes please. I'm dying for a pair of lace-up heeled booties, but can't seem to find the perfect pair!

Zara Strap Heels: These babies are sold out. But... they're so so beautiful. Too beautiful.

Travel: This year I turn 18, which means I can travel freely and book hotels on my own! I just really hope to visit the one place I've been wanting to go to ever since I can remember: california ... and not book a return ticket... ;)

Graduation/Prom: I finished school this December,  but I still feel like I'm in High School by association. I haven't had a graduation ceremony yet, and I still have to go to prom. So of course, that definitely will define my year :) ... this sounds like foreshadowing haha

ROSÉ.

Well, the winter is certainly upon us here in Toronto. Judging by this outfit, I wouldn't blame you if you assumed I was weather-challenged ;) haha
Pullovers like this gorgeous rose one I ordered from oasap are a must-have in my wardrobe; you can pull it on and look effortlessly put-together! Paired with an essential, basic skirt and heels, you're ready for the snow... just kidding! You're reading to freeze! ;)

DENIM DAYS.

Good news! I won the Nokia Lumia x LeiVanKash contest
I am absolutely speechless because these past few weeks have been so incredibly impactful. I graduated high school, got my driver's licence, and won a trip to London to design a piece of limited edition jewelry with LeiVanKash! When I said it was the "first chapter" of my life in my last blog post, I guess I wasn't kidding. It's an amazing feeling to have somebody believe in you and your passion. Never give up on your dreams :) You hear it all the time, but that's because it's true.

THE FIRST CHAPTER.

Hey!
I haven't written a long, wordy blog post in a while so I thought I may as well do it now, considering a lot has changed lately. I finished high school (I was a home-schooled) just last week, and now I never have to write an exam, test, quiz, or study and do homework ever again. However, the ironic part of this graduation is: now I want to dedicate myself to learning. Not sit-in-a-classroom-and-wait-until-three-oclock learning, but life-experience, useful information, and successful business creation learning. The kind of learning that, you know, actually makes you happy and inspires you to wake up every morning :)

It's been nice, to come home after a long day, and not have to do homework or study. It's the kind of freedom I've dreamt about for years upon years.

A lot of people ask me about university, college, and jobs that I want to pursue.. and let me just say, I'm not the type to talk about my plans. If I'm going to do something, you'll most likely see me do it- not hear me talk about doing it. Whatever I plan to do, I know it will be scary, difficult, but above all  rewarding :)

For now, before I can legally pursue anything (I'm still under 18 haha), I'm just trying to find new things to do and learn every day. I'll call this my "gap year", except it's really a gap life ;)

See you soon!

BART SIMPSON SWEATER.

The simpsonssssss... du du du du du du du du-du-du-du-du
I snatched up this bart simpson sweater as soon as I saw it for sale on romwe
I think it's a really fun piece, and would look awesome with high-waisted shorts (insert complaint about how it's too cold to wear shorts) haha
See you soon!

LEIVANKASH X NOKIA MOOD BOARD.

Over the past couple of weeks, I've been lucky enough to experiment with the Nokia Lumia 900 and use the camera to put together a mood board of all things that inspire me. Here is my contest entry for the LeiVanKash Jewellery contest. LeiVanKash is designed and founded by Leila Kash, and makes absolutely stunning jewellery!
I hope you guys enjoy my video :)

3.1 PHILLIP LIM PASHLI

I found this black 3.1 Phillip Lim Pashli Messenger at Holt Renfrew a couple days ago, picked it up, and instantly knew it was mine.
I refuse to buy anything unless I'm obsessed with it. You know those things you see in stores that you run up to and can't stop thinking about? Yep, those are the things worth investing in! :) Now I have a beautiful black bag for everyday use! :)

ECCENTRIC.

Pairing a patterned blouse with untraditional bottoms is quite the challenge. I believe that whatever your wildest desires are, when it comes to patterns, go for it! As long as it's harmonious in some way, though.
Whether it works or not- you'll still be eccentric; and hey, that's already better than being boring.
This upcoming week is going to be a busy one: I have a shoot for an iphone  app (with one of the best and loveliest makeup artists), and more school school school. Can't believe I'm lessons away from being graduated!

TUESDAY MOOD BOARD.

MAKE IT.

Everything I love, and pretty much "urgently" need, I decided to disperse on this mood board. Sometimes throughout the day I look into the sky, see an airplane, and smile like a freak for the next few seconds. It's always been this way. I just can't wait: about a month of school and I'll be graduated, and 6 months until I'm legal age to travel alone :)

By the way, this suede black balenciaga bag... it's just perfect. Definitely my next bag purchase!
See you soon! xo

LIVE FAST, DIE YOUNG.

When I found this shirt, I immediately thought of Lana Del Ray's music video for "Ride".  I'm in love. That song gives me the shivers. It inspires me; and it's flat out beautiful. I decided to pair the ripped up motorcycle shirt with a girly, silky skirt I recently bought at Aritzia. I just love the way masculine, grunge-style things look with girly fabrics and chanel earrings. It's like the best of both worlds! Androgynous for the win? Haha :)

A PIECE OF THE SKY.

Where do you wear a star printed knit sweater? To the moon obviously.
Turns out my 14 year old dreams of being an astronaut and staring at nebulas all day is probably not in my best interests- but we can pretend it is! I paired the sweater with some simple black jeans and nude booties for shopping at IKEA for a new couch, because my old one was... cute, sure, but it was much cuter 7 years ago and when my parrot didn't leave bite marks. Alas, maybe now I won't be embarrassed by my house and I can spend time somewhere other than my self-decorated bedroom! Life changing it shall be!
I'll see you guys soon ♥

COMIC SANS MS.

For this look I was going for 1980's hangout at the school parking lot.
Twas quite fun, I'll tell you that! This pullover is my absolute favorite- it's so comfortable and flat out adorable. I also got one teaspoon high waisted jeans in the mail today that I ordered from Nasty Gal, and sadly, they're going back. I had the weirdest gut feeling that they were going to be big for me, and yep, of course they were. Sigh. I usually never ever have problems shopping online, so when I do, it's mortifying :\
Anyways I'm off to make some chocolate tea (ya really) and try to finish as much homework as possible. See you soon!

THE FIRST SNOW.

Why hello there.
Today has been a very, very productive day. It all started with a video I watched this morning that was talking about procrastination. Here's the philosophy: the only thing that's going to stop the stress and make you happy is getting the project/stressor over with. So work now, and then enjoy yourself later. Simple, simple. With that in mind I finished an entire unit of school work in a couple hours. They take 2 months with a unit in public school... this is why I left to get home schooled.

It also snowed today. Super exciting, yes. I felt like a little kid seeing snow for the first time. It was as magical as I'm making it sound haha.
Tomorrow morning I have a driving lesson (strictly parking focused), and then school school school school. I need to finish 4 courses in 2 months. How will I do it? By telling myself: school school school school school.
Okay, I'm done boring you to death haha. I'll post a new outfit with this amazing sweater I got in the mail today.
xo.

SEASONS HAVE CHANGED.

Hi, don't remember me? Ya I don't remember you either haha
Seems last time we talked it was still summer, and now it's practically colder than winter. So weird, I remember last year this day it was 30 degrees. It's literally warmer in February! Oh, I'm a very weather-dependent person. I can talk about the weather for hours, and it certainly won't be small talk haha. I just need sun for survival, and sadly, with hurricane sandy and who knows what else, I haven't seen sun in weeks. Rare for Toronto.
Okay, aside from the awkward-person-in-an-elevator weather talk, I'm having to make serious decisions right now in terms of school. I want to finish before December but that's taking sacrifices. I don't want to talk about it really, because that's something that needs to be done, not talked about. So why am I blogging about it? Gah, it's just clogging up my brain and I have no one to talk to about it. But hey, they say success is measured by what you sacrificed to get there. Senior year problems... :)

In love love love with my prada sunglasses, which I randomly stumbled upon in a sunglasses shop. I'm getting a new little something soon, which I can't wait to share with you all. Thanks for sticking by me, and I promise the best posts are to come your way soon. I can't wait for what's ahead.

CURRENTLY LUSTING.

Yesterday as I was browsing Holt Renfrew (a designer department store in Canada much like Nordstroms),  I found this 3.1 Phillip Lim fleece biker jacket and fell in love. Instantly I thought "one day.. one day I will look at a price tag for a jacket and think $900 is no biggie" lol. The zippers at the bottom can be unzipped, which takes edginess to a whole new level. It's just perfect.

The celine luggage bag. I mean, we all know I'm obsessed with it. Everything about it is beautiful. It is the answer to all my questions and quite frankly my purse right now is mid-rip and will break on me any second. Too bad it's impossible to find in Canada haha

These prada glasses are just beautiful beyond words, and are perfect for those moods where you don't want anyone to see you.. or in my case, perfect for everyday life.

Lastly, kitty ballet flats by Charlotte Olympia. Fell in love with these when I saw them about half a year ago. I'm not even a cat lady and I love them. (Hint hint, maybe it's time for pasha the parrot ballet flats?) ;) haha

What are you currently lusting over?

STRIPED.

Another post coming to you at 2:30 in the morning ;)
#studentlife, well no, actually.. #procrastinatorlife
Nonetheless, this concludes the series of 3 outfits that my wonderful friend Julia filmed and photographed for me, and tomorrow I'm out to film 4 more with my mom. Thing is, she doesn't know how to use a DSLR camera haha so this should be interesting! Oh oh oh, I drove myself to the dentist yesterday! I'm so proud! I didn't drive back though because the dentist used anesthesia on me, and I swear I swallowed it or something because I felt very loopy. Can anyone explain why I get 5 cavities every year? I know people who don't even brush their teeth every day but have no problems. Sigh.
See you tomorrow! :)

ALL SMILES.

Ah, Dr.Martens on Sonya Esman.
Who would have known the day would come? I used to think they were chunky, and in many ways grotesque. I have seen the light though, not to worry ;) They always look so amazing paired with the right outfit, so I absolutly had to grab a pair while they were on sale on plndr! I have a serious love for that site, because I also got this style stalker cardigan for free with the purchase of the discounted dr.martens. I would have paid over $300 for the two pieces without a discount, but my purchase came to a little over $100. Major score!
See you tomorrow ♥

BLEACHED OXBLOOD.

Hey hey!
So oxblood.. big trend right? Right. Well, here I present you bleached oxblood. Or you could be normal and call it red. But we're not about that here at classisinternal ;)
I recently got this "red" top- which by the way, I know it sounds silly but all of my plain shirts are from Wilfred because the quality is so amazing that I don't treat them as "plain shirts". Oh no, no, no.
I paired it with my favorite jean shorts, which happen to be the result of a successful DIY project, and my holy combat boots.
Note: I've never liked shorts with tights, but.. I don't think it actually looks that bad. The trick is to pair shorts with tights incredibly sheer, so it's not screaming "It's-2006-and-you-wear-your-skirts-with-leggings".
See you tomorrow!
