SANTA MONICA.

Thankfully the last day in California was also the hottest day, so it only made sense to dedicate our time to the beach. 

We started with a beautiful brunch at the well-known Ivy Restaurant, which is not a place I would usually gravitate towards because of it's colorful elegance and far-from-flashy exterior, but my goodness it was magical. Maybe I love it so much because I've been craving french toast for two months ;) 

Santa Monica is such an amazing place to spend the day, especially if you're a couple (you'd fit right in with all the people making out). The whole time we were watching a couple rehearsing dramatic and romantic lines for a movie, it was quite the entertainment.

We walked around Third Street Promenade again and decided to drive back to Beverly Hills, where I made a very exciting purchase I'll share soon!

Thank you California, you were just what I needed and absolutely perfect in every way. 

To everyone dreaming of taking a trip to Los Angeles: set your mind to it, and then just go for it!

This shirt; let's talk about it for a second. It's the epitome of cool. 

 Paired with embellished jeans, classic heels and mirrored ray-bans, you have yourself a perfect spring outfit. But wait, it's not spring. In fact it seems like winter just started considering the monstrous snow fall the east coast had last week. 

 Melting snow is a boot destroyer. It is not my friend, I'll tell you that.

ECCENTRIC.

Pairing a patterned blouse with untraditional bottoms is quite the challenge. I believe that whatever your wildest desires are, when it comes to patterns, go for it! As long as it's harmonious in some way, though.
Whether it works or not- you'll still be eccentric; and hey, that's already better than being boring.
This upcoming week is going to be a busy one: I have a shoot for an iphone  app (with one of the best and loveliest makeup artists), and more school school school. Can't believe I'm lessons away from being graduated!

COMIC SANS MS.

For this look I was going for 1980's hangout at the school parking lot.
Twas quite fun, I'll tell you that! This pullover is my absolute favorite- it's so comfortable and flat out adorable. I also got one teaspoon high waisted jeans in the mail today that I ordered from Nasty Gal, and sadly, they're going back. I had the weirdest gut feeling that they were going to be big for me, and yep, of course they were. Sigh. I usually never ever have problems shopping online, so when I do, it's mortifying :\
Anyways I'm off to make some chocolate tea (ya really) and try to finish as much homework as possible. See you soon!

The majority of my outfit posts seem to be outcomes of a scenario where I throw on whatever clothing is closest to me on, and then realize "hey this doesn't look so bad!" But that's still better than putting on an outfit just for pictures, right? It's not as realistic and relatable! So you're welcome ;) haha

Tomorrow morning I have driving school, and then I'm supposedly taking a practice ride with my mom. I haven't driven in over a year, and when I did drive for the first time, my breaking skills weren't that great..

Speaking of my mom, today was her birthday! So happy birthday, mom! If you're reading this, which you're not haha

Now I have to go study for my business management exam :\ Have a fantastic day! Make the most of the changing weather, drink tea and coffee and more tea and coffee ;)

RUNNING AROUND IN THE HEAT.

Ah, it’s 40 degrees outside. 

The temperature in which you don’t even want to think about clothing. So obviously, I wore the shortest shorts I own and the thinnest tank top invented haha.

I was filming a video outside on this day, and then decided to play around with my new gadget (a remote).

H&M TREND JEANS & WILFRED

Happy monday lovelies!
As promised, I'm going to share some of the things I got yesterday, and I'll show you guys the rest later.
The top is from an amazing Canadian designer named Wilfred, which is sold in Aritzia stores (that are now located in New York City too)! Wilfred is definitely one of my favorite designers because of the feminine design, quality and neat sewing, and of course, my absolute favorite thing is that they use silk in their designs all the time. Like real, 100% silk! None of that rayon or satin crap (Forever 21 anyone?)
Aritzia is having a sale right now on pretty much everything in store, so I would definitely suggest going by if you're in Canada. The shirt used to be $60, but I got it for $48- which is not too shabby considering how flawless it is!

Also, I went by H&M to check out what new stuff they had, and when I found these jeans... I died. My heart froze. They were actually being sold. I was actually looking at them. And they had my size.. what is this magical sequence of fortunate events?
I found these jeans on Andy's or stylescrapbook's blog and I assumed that these were given to super cool bloggers only and then were going on sale for like a day in the fall. Au contraire! There is a whole new collection of gorgeous stuff from H&M, featuring all my favorites: Silk shorts, velvet tank tops, and of course, pearl and gem cuff jeans! Perfection!

Here's the outfit I wore today, and let's move past the fact that these shorts are 10,000 sizes too big for me. That's just what happens when you really like shopping at vintage stores for shorts but they don't feel the same way.

Don't forget to check back tomorrow for some other new purchases! Just a hint: it rhymes with milk but doesn't make my stomach hurt for a week.

CHEETAH RAWR-OMPER

Looks can be deceiving, it was actually pretty cold this day, well it was +20 and to me that’s pretty cold! I wore my new ZARA studded sandals, H&M romper, Free People blouse, ZARA purse and Rayban sunglasses!

  My new dogeared amethyst necklace! Amethyst is my favourite word so I kind of had to buy this. It’s my “i love you” present to myself on my birthday.  Vegan soft serve! Crazy right? It tasted exactly like real ice cream, except of course there was no milk in this whatsoever. I’ve been seriously avoiding milk recently because I sometimes push aside the fact that I’m lactose deficient and can’t digest milk products, but then end up in pain and bloating.

I don’t want to be accepted.

Good morning!

So often I find we have to remind ourselves that what makes us most beautiful is that we are unique. You’re beautiful for being you, and that is more than enough. Also, I find myself running away from any opportunity to be “accepted”. I hate when someone has power over my emotions and life, hell if I wanna do anything I’ll do it myself ;) Right.. onto the pictures, I chose a add some neon colour into my outfits. Neons? For spring? Groundbreaking! ;) I’ve got an english exam (they like to call it a final test) tomorrow, but honestly I’m not that worried. Usually exams are so much easier than I expect them to be! I so jinxed it.. haha

Classic Blue & Black

This whole weekend has involved driving around with my mom…and surprisingly, shopping. I never, ever go shopping with my mom, simply cause she doesn’t enjoy it. Besides, I end up running around the streets/malls because I don’t ever plan a route of the stores I need to go to so when I go shopping, I need someone with a good stamina! Here are the pictures from Sunday, going to downtown to return some broken headphones and walk around in the pretty moderate weather. See you soon!

эти выходные включали вождения с моей мамой ... и неожиданней шопинг. Я никогда, никогда не хожу по магазинам с мамой, просто потому что ей не нравится. Кроме того, я всегда бегаю по магазинам, потому что я никогда не планирую маршрут магазинов. Вот фотографии сделанные в воскресенье, в центр города. И да,  мнe была холодна с без куртки!

Asymmetrical Blouse

A pastel coloured asymmetrical blouse, is in my opinion, a staple this early spring! With the high-low hem skirts and boxy blouses, it’s pretty clear that imperfection and originality is beautiful (although with it being a trend, it’s not so original after all, huh?) On this day, it was pretty cold, actually it was freezing but I really wanted to take my coat off to show the shape of the blouse. After this I went to a restaurant with two of my friends, and for the first time in maybe 5 years had something deep fried. It was nice during the moment… but then you have a gross feeling for the next 6 hours. I went to the gym after with my friend, so maybe that justified it! See you soon! 

Блузки пастельные и асимметричные, на мой взгляд, являются главными этой ранней весной! Это достаточно очевидно, что несовершенстве и оригинальность красиво. В этот день, было довольно холодно, но я действительно хотела снять мое пальто, чтобы показать форму блузки. После этого я пошла в ресторан с друзьями, и в первый раз за 5 лет я съела что-то жареное (куриные палочки xaxa). После рестарана я с моей подругоы пошла в фитнесклуб..но я все равно чувствовала жирные внутри!
