DANCE ON THE CLOUDS.

Faux Leather Jacket: ZARA (similar online) / Cloud Skirt & Top: Choies / Metallic heels: Alaia from The Outnet / Lips necklace: Choies

It's all been a total blur since last week when I returned from NYFW. It swear it feels as though I was never really there because the days were so hectic and lively, that they were over before I knew it. I digress, can we just talk about the fact that it's practically mid-November here in Toronto? Seriously, it was 9 degrees Celsius (48 degrees F) a couple days ago, which to my surprise, I've been worshipping. I still keep my air conditioner blasting in my house because I suppose my blog has been so boiled this summer that it takes a recovery time (that's my uneducated, ridiculous assumption anyway).

But alas, leather jackets have finally come into the picture! Can I get a hallelujah? We already know I love screwing over a perfectly feminine outfit (here) with pieces of grunge culture. So oops I did it again- with this leather jacket paired with gorgeous Alaia heels from The Outnet, a cloudy duo, and a perfectly sparkling pair of lips- or six.

So these few days are pretty much filled with ways to end up back in NYC. I'm not quite level-desperate yet, but I'm definitely working at it every day.
See you next week, when it will undoubtedly be freaking winter soon.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAY THREE.

Hat: Topshop (similar) / Floral jumpsuit: ZARA (I also love | similar) / Studded heels: ZARA (I also love | similar) / Translucent Clutch: ZARA (similar | I also love)

The third day of fashion week was focused around attending the Hervé Léger show at The Lincoln Centre. I wore a silk floral jumpsuit that I recently found at ZARA, and paired it with a statement hat, a translucent clutch, and studded heels that I adorn. Truth be told, I planned on wearing a gorgeous baby blue necklace with this outfit, but given that all of Fashion Week was spent rushing places and being late, I completely forgot to put it on before the show. Womp womp.
Thank you Marie Claire for featuring my outfit in your street style page, and big big thank you to all the photographers who sent me the pictures from the show! I couldn't bring my own camera because I was going solo, and didn't have anyone to take pictures for me! So much for blogging haha.
After the show I met up with fellow YouTuber Carly Cristman and we hung out around the shows for a while before dispersing and taking a deep and much appreciated sleep.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAY TWO.

Photos by George Elder
Entire outfit from ZARA / Hat: Asos / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim / Bracelets: Topshop, Hermes, Asos.

On my second day at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week I wore a faux leather crop top/sports bra, dark wash denim boyfriend jeans, minimalistic heels, my new 3.1 Phillip Lim pashli and a baseball cap to finish it off. I believe this is called "sports luxe", a trend that has been dominating the world of fashion this spring and summer.
I had the pleasure of attending the BCBG Max Azria show, which kicked off not only NYFW, but essentially all of fashion month! Watching a fashion show was really interesting because I'm used to the technicalities of runway from backstage, or a model's perspective. It was enlightening to be the one analyzing the models and drawing conclusions on their outfits ;)
Some of my favourite pieces that Max Azria featured in his Spring 2014 collection were crisp crop-tops, light trench coats, androgynous cuts, and glasses with thick black frames. Powder blue dominated the colour scheme, with the occasional greys, nudes, and floral prints.

NEW YORK FASHION WEEK: DAY ONE

Floral dress: Lucca Couture / Combat boots: Maje / Bag: Celine / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Clubmaster / Braclets: Asos, Topshop, Hermes / Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs

Hello Hello!
This year I decided to embark on a journey that I've only dreamt about, up until this point. I bought an airplane ticket, RSVP'd to invitations, booked a hotel room, and started planning my outfits. I've been following Fashion Week for years now, and every year I tweet something a long the lines of "Everyone is at fashion week and I'm just in bed being irrelevant". Now that I'm here, there's not a moment I have that isn't filled with gratitude. I seriously walk down the streets of NYC and smile. Maybe I'm cheesy, or maybe I'm quite literally in love with this city.
On the first day, I had the absolute best time meeting with bloggers from around the world. Come to think of it, one of the best parts of this trip has been the possibility of meeting other like-minded people. I met Liza, a russian beauty blogger, and we spent the afternoon window shopping, filming fun little videos for YouTube, and of course, what kind of tourist would I be if I wasn't taken to Times Square? ;)
When night rolled around I met with Sofie Eliseeva, one of my favourite Russian fashion bloggers. We spent some time in TriBeCa, drinking "French toast", which seriously- if you run across a cocktail that shamelessly shares it's name with a breakfast, run away.

For my first day, I decided to wear a Saint Laurent ad inspired outfit that I was instantly drawn to when I was scrolling through the September issue of Vogue. Floral print dress, fishnet tights, combat boots, and you're good. It's the perfect mix of innocence and grunge, and I am 100% committed to this beautiful lovechild of styles.
See you tomorrow for more Fashion Week craziness!

WHERE ARE YOUR PANTS?

Unicorn T-Shirt Dress: ROMWE (similar) / Sneakers: Converse / Fedora: Guess / Purse: Alexander Wang

Did you forget your pants at home? Why aren't you wearing pants? Where are your pants?!
Are those not the only comments you see from people when bloggers wear t-shirts as dresses?
They are.
It's quite awesome that long shirts can be worn as dresses now-a-days. You feel half naked, but you get the comfort of being half naked.
This majestic t-shirt, err, I mean dress was absolutely perfect for attending a fairy themed Zumba party on my last night in Orlando. I swear I did not even know the theme of the party was fairies, but when I walked in, it was like destiny.
I'm just a majestic every day guys, really, it's nbd ;)

Fortunately yet unfortunately, my battle with the beautiful yet extremely humid city of Orlando is over, and I'm flying back to Toronto later today. See you back in TO!

ORLANDO.

Silk shirt: Iris & Ink / Lace skirt: ROMWE (similar) / Flats: Chanel / Straw Fedora: Guess / Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs / Purse: Alexander Wang

Hello from Orlando, Florida!
I'm here until the end of the week as media coverage for the Zumba Convention! Today I got to interview Victoria Justice (the interview will be up later), take a pretty dope picture with Sean Paul, and yea, obviously got to do some Zumba myself at the Zumba Concert, which was the most lively concert I've ever been to. I'm definitely not a dancing type, but I am a fun-fitness type. I strictly refuse to do intentional exercise like going to the gym, going on runs, etc. That's just not what I'm about, I like yoga, biking everywhere, walking everywhere; so Zumba is right up my alley.

While I'm here, I'm not only attending all the fun events, but I'm also soaking in the Florida sunshine (obviouslyyy). It's actually quite tricky to dress for the humidity over here; it's so hot that it's a burden to be wearing anything at all really. I decided to sport this gorgeous silk t-shirt I got while at the event that The Coveteur & The OUTNET hosted last week in Toronto that I had the pleasure of attending. I'm obsessed with all things silk, so this shirt had my name written all over it. The skirt: an all-time favourite, and the shoes, we all know, I love because they are a comfortable alternative to heels (at least in my eyes).

I'll see you all soon with another less-is-more outfit while I fight the tropical heat haha

ALOHA.

Blue Tropical Dress: ZARA / Nude Sandal Heels: Alexander Wang / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Wayfarer / Jacket: ZARA

What's better than a little Hawaiian tropical print in the end of July? Uh, nothing.
I couldn't even begin to tell you how badly I want to hit up a thrift store and shop the man's t-shirt section for hawaiian prints. I'm just in love, that's it.
I let this dress do all the talking with basic sandals and minimal accessories. This jacket I'm holding? I found it at ZARA; it's a faux-leather jacket which screams 90's grunge. Basically, expect to see lots of it this upcoming fall.
Am I crazy for looking forward to fall? It's absolutely always been my favourite season, but I wish the temperatures would stop falling by October. I'm good with 10 degrees being my minimum.
I'm 18 this year though, so I'm a free willy. I'm not forced to live in a cold climate, and you sure can bet that I will exercise that right.
I'm out. Peace ;)

DOWN BEHIND THE OLD SCHOOL.

Chanel Sweatshirt: Choies / Striped shorts: Choies / Glitter Sneakers: K-Styleme.com / Bangle: Hermes

There truly isn't much I miss about my past or feel sentimental about.
The only exception really is middle school. I feel like while most people have an amazing four years of high school filled with friends, wandering the streets at night, sleepovers, jokes, tears, and emotions you'll remember forever- I had all of that condensed into one year in middle school.
Today I decided to go on a walk "down behind the old school" and play on the school playground. I realized that while I'm still able to hang upside-down on the monkeybars and climb up the slide, it's a hell of a lot harder being fully grown. They're not kidding when they say "this playground was designed for children aged 5-12." But hey, I loved every second of it.

It's still fun to play on the playground. I swear. Try it.

SNOWFLAKES IN JULY.

Sequin denim shorts: Runway Bandits / White T-Shirt: Wilfred / White Cardigan: Runway Bandits / Blue Reflective Aviators: Ray-Ban / 5 Zip Nude Purse: Rebecca Minkoff / Classic Flats: Chanel / Gold Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs

For as long as I can remember I've always said: "I love snow, but I hate the cold that comes along with it. Why can't it 'snow' in the summer?"
Well, to my joyous surprise, I realized that when pollen flies around in the early summer, it pretty much looks exactly like snow! Sucks to be allergic..

I bring this up because these amazing sequin shorts resemble falling snowflakes, except of course you'd only be able to wear them when it's blazing hot outside (like it is right now, the weather network claims it "feels like +46 Celsius" every day). I love pieces like this because you basically have to structure your entire outfit around one key piece, which makes styling more fool-proof for me. I'm a big fan of white too, in case you can't tell, so I tend to just pair everything with white.
On that note, I got my teeth whitened today, which burned my gums to the bone.

My dentist also told me not to consume any "staining foods", to which I replied,
"You don't mean... cherries... do you?".
"No, definitely no cherries!"

BE IN PEACE, NOT IN PIECES.

Crochet bra: Urban Outfitters / Denim shorts: Vintage Levi's / Floral Headband: Vidakush

As we approach mid-summer, I can't help but soak in all the sunshine, buy out all the farmer's markets, live outside, and smile unconditionally. This is the bliss I've been waiting for. This is the time of year that inspires me, teaches me, and makes me a better person.
Unfortunate that this all had to come to an end one fall day, so soak it up, and smile.

THE REPEATED OUTFIT.

IMG_8719 IMG_8706IMG_8707
Tank: Topshop / Skirt: Topshop / Heels: Alexander Wang / Purse: Rebecca Minkoff

Ye-haw! A new camera for classisinternal! Did you notice? I'm still figuring out all these adobe photoshop mumbo-jumbos and exporting tricks and focusing and iso and whatever else goes into nice photographs.
You see the problem with blogging is that even if you have a nice camera, you're not the one standing behind the lens taking your own picture. Sadly I cannot duplicate myself, and teaching people how to use a 10lb camera, meh, I would rather not.

Onto the outfit: I swear I've worn this a solid 5 times. I showed up to my agency one day wearing this and they told me it would be perfect for castings... so I kind of just highlighted it as my go-to outfit. I think it's important when going to castings or interviews to be wearing something you like, and something that would make you shine amongst your competitors. Maybe they'll remember me as that girl in the cute skirt- hey, that's already better than nothing!

BOYFRIEND-LESS JEANS.

Boyfriend Jeans: One Teaspoon / Grey T-Shirt: American Apparel / Black Sneakers: Converse / Black cap: Forever 21 / Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs

To say that I've been obsessed with these jeans ever since saw them, would be an understatement. One Teaspoon has some brilliant designers on their team, because all of their denim is drool-worthy. Heck, all Australian designers have such an interesting take on fashion. Note: Cameo, Sass & Bide, Finders Keepers. I decided to play on the boyfriend jeans all the way with a simple t-shirt, sneakers and a baseball cap. Go big or go home. Although these jeans would look just as great with a silk cami and chanel flats.
How would you wear them?

REFLECTIVE CYAN.

Top: ASOS.com / Sweater: Brandy Melville (similar) / Shorts: Levis vintage / Sandals: Forever 21 / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban Aviators / Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs

When I bought this crop top/bandeau/it kind of looks like a shower cap, I had NO idea how to wear it. It was on sale at ASOS.com for something like $8, and I knew I had to make it work somehow.
Ta da!
I love pieces like this; I mean sure you won't wear it everyday, but when you do wear it you feel daring and confident in yourself. Thank you to the sizzling Italian sun for permitting this outfit choice, and also thank you for allowing such amazing strawberries to grow! Seriously- Italian strawberries are to die for!
Now that I'm back to the metropolitan city of Toronto now, I'll be ditching the belly tops and diving straight for the silk tanks. That is, after I can ditch the jet lag and get out of bed ;)

POSITANO.

Dress: Choies.com / Purse: Alexander Wang 'Kirsten' / Flats: Chanel / Watch: Marc by Marc Jacobs / Bracelet: Hermes

Positano Positano, I'm sure you've seen pictures of the beautiful town on Pinterest, Tumblr, Facebook, you name it. It's pretty much known for being a colourful city built along the Amalfi Coast mountains. I remember reblogging a picture from Tumblr 4 or so years ago, and being infatuated with how magical a place could be. If you walk down the streets you'll mostly find custom sandal shops, giant lemons for sale, and gelato shops. Sounds like the summer of my dreams :) I wore my new cut-out dress that seemed to catch the attention of a lot of people, probably because it brings cut-outs and uneven seams to a whole new level! Paired with an edgy purse, and Chanel flats (because I had sandal blisters haha), I was ready to- well- to be honest- slip multiple times because Chanel flats and rocky mountains don't mix well together! I've learned my lesson though! ;)

BREEZES ON CAPRI.

One of the things I was most looking forward to during my trip to Amalfi was definitely visiting Capri, a highly coveted island to the west of the Amalfi coast.
We took a boat tour that showed us all around the coast, and then as we got into Capri we saw the grotto, and other countless caves filled with crystal-clear turquoise water. To be honest though, I was very excited to visit Capri because it has a reputation of luxury, and I'm drawn to all things unattainable and unrealistic. I popped into several shops, and decided to buy a souvenir that I've wanted forever (proof here): my first Hermès piece, a white and gold 'Clic H' bangle! After curbing my bruschetta craving and wandering around the lush gardens, we headed back to Amalfi.
Let me just add: I'm freaking obsessed with this skirt. You have to try one on for yourself to see how amazing it feels to be covered yet still expose the perfect amount of skin. It's like wearing a blanket but still looking good ;)
