BLACK ONYX.

Hey guys! 

So... random post today, I know, but why not? I think it's pretty interesting! I bought these two belly button rings online at bodycandy.com and thought they were gorgeous in person! It's so so so much cheaper to buy this stuff online, and I got free shipping (yay!).

I put the black onyx ring in today.. well actually I went to a professional piercer to get it changed because I have a phobia of inserting jewelry into my belly button.. weird I know.
This is what it looks like, in my stomach (gosh this sounds weird haha).
I actually love it because since it's black, you can tell that I have my belly button pierced, whereas the typical gems sometimes become invisible!


Side story: My belly button took about 8 months to stop oozing, hurting, and being a pain in the ass. I will say though, it was so worth it. It makes me happy throughout the day to know I have it, and that's all that matters! It's so pretty and I've wanted it done since I was 13 :)



Dinner at Fresh today!
I have to be honest, I've never been impressed with their food. It comes in a quantity too small for a five year old, and is way overpriced. Most importantly, the flavours suck. It's usually like 5 pieces of steamed broccoli mixed in with some grilled tofu (BASIC!) and that's a $15  "meal" right there. I got the raw italian pasta and had to ask them to re-do it because they put waaaaay too much pesto.. it was like drowning in oil. Mind you, I'm never picky with food and even if I'm not over the moon with something, I won't ask them to fix it.. but with this, it was torture to eat. I swear it's the last time I return. BOO FRESH! Gimme ma money back. Kidding, lol.






Tomorrow I think I'm going to the lake with my mom, so I plan on taking some outfit pictures for you guys! I want to wear my maxi skirt that I got today at Brandy Melville, which finally opened in Toronto!

COOLEST NAIL POLISH EVER.

Am I right? Isn't this nail polish stunning? 

It's from one of the newer OPI collections, namely Spiderman (Oh ya, I'm soo cool for wearing spiderman nail polish). The colour is called Just Spotted the Lizard (yup, just got even cooler).

It's a dead on dupe for the Chanel peridot, so if you're not crazy about spending something like $30 on a nail polish, I would totally recommend this one! I got a mini sized bottle at a beauty supply store for around $3! Honestly, I will never buy full sized nail polish again after discovering mini sized bottles at discount beauty supply stores! 

If you live in Toronto, I would recommend this shop called TBBS around the eaton center, it's my absolute favorite!

Anyways, today I went downtown and bought a few things that I can't wait to show you guys!

New shoes - Jeffrey Campbell “Rumble"

Jeffrey Campbell Rumble boots, ah I’ve been lusting over these for the past couple of days and simply had to have them! I love Jeffrey Campbell as a designer but all of his past shoes, except for the 99 ties were really not my style. 

They’re super easy to walk in (it’s a 4” heel) and I’m terrible at walking heels. For reference I’m usually an 8-8.5 in shoes (39 in european sizes), and I got the 39, which fits big at first, but when you get up and walk around they fit perfect! The band at the top is kind of tight so these probably work best without thick jeans or pants.

Mac Speak Louder Lipstick- Best Pink Lipstick!

We all know Mac makes some of the best lipsticks, and I can for sure say that mac actually outdid itself with this cremesheen lipstick, Speak Louder. Funny story, this is actually my mom’s, since her dark brown hair matches vibrant red-pink colours such as this, and i’m more of a creamy baby pink lipstick kind of girl. But- with my hair getting darker (which…i’m not too fond of), I feel like vibrant colours make more sense on me now, and it doesn’t look awkward! 

Мы все знаем, Mac делает одни из лучших помад! Забавная история, это на самом деле помада моей мамы, так как ее темно-коричневые волосы подходят к ярким цветам хорошо. Mой цвет волос всегда выглядит лучше со светло-розовыми помадами. Но так как мои волосы выглядят более коричневыми в последнее время, я чувствую, что яркие цвета смотрятся на мне довольно хорошо!

MAC BlackTrack Fluidline

После того, что я попробовала мою первую гелевую подводку, я поняла, что ни на что её не променяю. мне гораздо больше нравится гелевая подводка, чем жидкая и карандаш.


After trying a gel eyeliner for the first time, it was like the makeup angels were singing to me: “never go back to pencil”.

The size of the actual eyeliner is pretty small, but I’ve had mine for 6 months and I’m sure I’ll have it for another 6 years.

как видно, за пол года я очень мало расходовала

I use it every day, yet there seems to always be so much product left.

Один из недостатков - это то, что с ней надо использовать кисточку (моя из ecotools)


The brush I use with it is from ecotools, which I found at walmart.

Стойкость нормальная, но не самая лучшая. Eсли вы трёте глаза или носите подводку весь день, то цвет становится светлее, но он все равно будет оставаться на ваших глазах. 


The line this eyeliner leaves is very opaque, but with around 8 hours of wear it does loose opacity and becomes almost blotchy.
